No OW/OM Some OW is interested to marry H for power, not because she likes him. H isn't interested at all and is very overtly rejecting her The plot IS their relationship, with some focus on the politics and the conflict between Hunters and Shades. Bit of a slow burn for about half the book, but once they bang, they go bangbangbangbang. 👍

Ophelia paused outside of her bedroom door, looking suddenly unsure as she glanced between Damen and I. I mean...bitch left a whole realm, a throne, and her husband because he wasn't giving her enough attention😭. Which is wonderful, immature, queen behaviour. Besides, Ophelia hadn’t asked me to stay. Surely she would have asked if she wanted me to sleep next to her.Stepbrother Stories 2 - 21 Taboo Story Collection (Brother Sister Stepbrother Stepsister Taboo Pseudo Incest Family Virgin Creampie Pregnant Forced Pregnancy Breeding) by Roxi Harding(10340) s pertinent to my task,” Damen retorted, smirking. “I’m not asking for the details, but you did specifically mention fit. Their relationship was really intense right from the start, they had a nice chemistry and the tension was there. The miscommunication really bugged me the most, it's a trope that I always find annoying as hell. Their separation felt a bit forced and unnecessary, overly dramatic even. It was weird how things unfolded. I didn't like the antagonist(s)' motives, I thought they were lame and stupid villains, and the last five chapters is what considerably dropped the rating for me. Their reasoning didn't make any sense at all. The beginning of the story was fun and engaging, the middle was a bit slow paced and the ending was rushed and unsubstantial. I loved Ophelia (FMC) the most, and in my opinion she carried this mountain in her smol hands almost single-handedly. I loved how humorous she was, and that she used it as a coping mechanism was seamlessly implied. Kudos to the writer for making me sense (all show no tell 👌) her raw vulnerability and her insecurities underneath all that humor. Really good balanced writing - what could have been rife with overtures was instead presented in a tempered way with regards to her POV. I also LOVE how much she owns what she wants. After centuries of fighting, a peace treaty is brokered. Hunters will stop killing Shades as long as they feed in designated areas, and the King of the Shades will take a Hunter as his bride.

Except Ophelia always found the idea of monsters kind of intriguing. She even made the grave sin of committing some X-rated monster thoughts to paper—which in hindsight may not have been the best idea because her parents were mortified—but you live and learn. Well, everyone finds out your secret, you get banished from society, and then you learn. My only tiny complaint is one common to romance books with experienced main characters. And that is I hate when they mention or think about their past relationships in context of their current one. It’s a small thing though. Other thoughts while reading. These are elite Hunters yet we have zero info on how they train, or why they need so much training for a creature that's basically helpless in the human world. How do you stab a shadow? The silver knife just makes them dissolve? Where do they go? Do they believe in the afterlife? Am I asking too many philosophical questions for a simple monster romance?Gone. She was actually gone. My heart was tearing into two inside my chest, ripping brutally in different directions. My breath sawed out of me, louder and raspier than normal. Maybe I was dying. Maybe Ophelia had condemned me to death when she walked out of my life. She’d been my sunshine, and she’d taken it with her.

Breeding Kink: being aroused by the idea of impregnation, either being impregnated or impregnating another ( https://www.webmd.com/sex/what-is-breeding-fetish ). should show her more softness,” Damen observed, flopping down onto the couch. “It was very brave of Ophelia to come here all alone, but I get the sense she’s quite a gentle soul and you haven’t done a great job at showing her kindness so far. What happens between the sheets doesn’t count.”

I swear this author is underrated. The writing is fantastic, her imagination vivid, the sex scenes smoking and the wittiness between the characters completely engaging. I thought the story could have used more of an emotional connection between the two and less monster politics. Kinky and sweet, I loved the whole fantasy world created. very carefully,” I warned. “I won’t have you or anyone else making lewd comments about my wife. What I want you to look into is the earliest history between Hunters and Shades. The very first interactions, anything we have on record.” Seriously, I was one muttered complaint about how slow my human legs moved away from whispering, ‘sorry, Monster Daddy,’ and dropping to my knees to ask for forgiveness."

ll consider it. In the meantime, I need you to look into something for me,” I told my brother, pouring us both a goblet of wine and handing him one. When he thought the sweet smell of her desire was fear, THERE WERE ZERO COMPLAINTS🤣, but the moment he realised her fear stank rotten...oh oh suddenly it's a problem. You know what I call that? Pretty smell privilige. Praise kink vibes, one scene of primal/chase play, stretching/breeding kinks (with no actual babies or pregnancy) Damen frowned, sipping slowly on his drink. “I’ll see what I can find, but there’s a very good chance I won’t be able to read them. The original documents are all written in the old language.”My new release, Luxuria, is out now and available in KU. It's a sweet and spicy MF monster romance, featuring an arranged marriage between a monster king and a human bride he doesn't realize is totally hot for him. Content warning on breeding kink and primal play (though it was really just light stuffs). Also there's knotting for you sexy beasts. Remember in Monsters Inc, when they powered their city by frightening children, but soon learned laughter created more power than screams? This is an adult, monster romance version of that movie, at least that's my take! Fabulous side characters, and excellent writing. This was a fun, light, somewhat slow-burn monster romance. HFN No epilogue. h is being crowned Queen of the Shades. H and h are very in love and thinking about having babies eventually
