I've had/owned/used and killed cheaper power tools and I've come to the conclusion over the years that cheap tools, specially those that require power of some sort are cheap for a reason. They don't last or the product is updated in such a way that you cannot get parts for which means you have to throw it away and buy another cheap power tool. I love the Makita brand but I'm also warming to the Dewalt brand as well as I have some of there gear too. The power source for the Makita 4329 is AC, ensuring a constant and reliable source of power for uninterrupted operation. This AC-powered saw is suitable for use in workshops or any location with a power outlet. A clear acrylic dust cover shields the blade drive allowing the operator a clear view of the cut line I've owned this Makita Jigsaw now for at least two years if not longer now. i did pay more than I would have liked to have done but even to this day and even tough it doesn't get used that much it's still like new.

Over the years I've always stayed away from named products like Makita, Dewalt and other big named tools due to the excess they charge for there products. If you are on the hunt for a jigsaw that is very durable and offers you a high level of performance, look no further than this one. Makita 4329 capable of handling both heavy and light jobs which include cutting materials like wood, metal, plastic, and more. Useful features like the dust port keep your station clean, variable speed for getting clean crip cut depending on the material and most importantly, it’s ergonomic design. Its price tag is it’s biggest selling point because it is affordable especially for those who don’t have the funds to shell out on an expensive model. The minimum number of strokes per minute is indicated for the 4329 jigsaw is 500, which gives you a great insight into the power of the machine. The maximum rate it functions at is approximately 3,100 strokes per minute is indicated for the device. I was so impressed with the old Makita drill/driver that I decided at that point to invest into future Makita gear for whatever job I required it to do. Durable and dependable– To guarantee quality and performance, buying tools made from a reputable brand name like Makita is highly recommended. This is because you will get a tool that is durable and can be used for a very long time. Buying from lesser-known names can lead to purchasing a tool that will malfunction, breakdown, or even cause injury. With the Makita 4329, you will have a maximum of 6mm when cutting steel and a maximum of 65 mm when cutting wood. This is a straight-up useful tool that works as a reciprocating saw. The gadget is simple, and equipped with the following features: Electronic stroke control and a soft grip. The power of the device is 450 Watts, with a cord that plugs in to the mains. The operating voltage is 230 V, which is perfect to process wood and metal. Tech Specs

Not many tools on the market scream high quality quiet like the Makita 4329. This tool gives you everything you want if you are a tradesman or a casual user. Durability, precision, performance, power, functionality are all here with this tool because it is made from top quality materials. Well built – Makita 4329 has impressive speed, sturdy, comfortable, durable, and amazing cutting power. Its design means there is little chance of you losing control when you’re using it even on the toughest of materials. The Makita 4329 saw is a power tool designed for cutting various materials with precision and efficiency. With an output power of 450 W, this saw delivers a powerful performance, making it suitable for a wide range of cutting tasks. Chip deflector – This tool was made with tradesmen in mind because the manufacturers know that chips will fly whenever one is working with a jigsaw. The addition of a chip deflector is a very clever touch from the Makita and acts as a safety feature that protects you when chips are flying all over the place.

Variable speed control – This feature allows you to match the speed of the speed to the material you are cutting for consistent top quality cuts all the time.

Weighing in at 1900 grams, the Makita 4329 is lightweight and easy to handle, reducing user fatigue during prolonged use. Furthermore, it comes with a saw blade included, offering convenience right out of the box. Absence of LED light – The only downside of this tool is it doesn’t have a LED light meaning you can use it in a poorly lit or dim room. You will need to buy a lamp or have some sort of light in the area you are working to be able to use it in the dark. If it is a fine cut in wood or a straight one in plaster you're looking for without going as heavy as a circular saw, the jigsaw is a practical tool when it comes to carrying out simple work. Depending on the material to be processed, the product range also offers the right accessories, in addition to the machines themselves. For example, there are many different saw blades that can be used, just like with sanders & grinders. The differences in the sawblades are mostly size, width and coarseness of the prongs. A perennial example of this is the Makita 4329, which is always a popular choice. But how is it measuring up? Makita 4329 - The LowdownIs it good quality? The only thing I've needed to replace so far have been the blades. Read full review The Makita 4329 Jigsaw is ideally suited for light duty activities and will appeal to both the professional and the serious DIY enthusiasts. Incorporating a counterweight balancing system, which reduces vibration, the 4329 can be used for long periods without operator fatigue occurring. A sliding dust cover improves dust collection and prevents the scattering of chips. Fitted with a smooth rigid aluminium base which is rustproof and glides over the workpiece. Bevel cutting up to 45 degrees left or right is also possible with the tiltable base. Ideally suited for light duty activities such as the installation of new work surfaces, boxing around baths or for fixing panelling to alter décor appearances

I came across a Makita 18v drill some years ago and it was well used when I obtained it. A couple of new batteries later and I carried on using it in places I didn't really fancy using a power drill in the event that drill snagged and twisted the power drill out of my hand like if I'm up a ladder. Blade change is simple with a single hex screw fastening with the hex wrench stored in the machine handleThat actual drill died it's death about 2yrs ago but not before I had the chance to buy another two cordless hammer/drill/screw driver units and then eventually a Makita jigsaw and circular saw. At the end of the day it's just a jigsaw and maybe to some people an over inflated priced jigsaw but to me it's a nicely priced jigsaw that if it breaks down at all I'm able to get it serviced at a Makita service centre or I've able to get hold of parts on the internet to do it myself. Would I recommend it? Yes without a doubt, but only if you want to spend that little extra for quality as appose to cheap. Constructed with quality materials, the Makita 4329 exhibits durability and longevity, allowing for prolonged use without compromising performance. Its sturdy build ensures stability during cutting, enabling accurate and precise results.
