Musk can smell especially soapy when paired with citrus and rose because this was precisely the smell of soap decades ago, in the classic feminine soaps Camay and Lux. Masculine soaps often brought garlands of lavender, especially when combined with neroli and/or sandalwood notes. There is some scientific evidence behind this, as well as cultural tropes. Linalool, abundant in lavender, smells soapy to 25-30% of the population and smells flowery and citrusy to everyone else. Lily of the valley, especially the synthesized note (often encountered in household products), is another one where we tend to read soapy, along with floral green and fresh facets. And if sandalwood soaps sound somewhat exotic to USA residents, you will agree orange blossom has been a default scent in many cleaning products in the USA for a long time. It's so pervasive that people often associate the smell of orange blossom with cleaning day. However, in France and other European countries, it generally recalls bathing babies and children, as it's the sine qua non of many beloved kids' products. This is a soap from ITC, with TFM 76%. It can be used on the body and face for cleansing the pores. It has a pleasant fragrance and pampers your skin well. 12. Park Avenue Fragrant Soap: Amber, what amber? This is pure cuddly soapiness and just showered skin. It projects friendly vibes and brings tokens of peace. Perfect for when out on the prowl wanting to appear totally innocent but also magnificently presentable. Ladies love it. The Babylonians were the first to invent soap in around 2800 B.C. They discovered that combining fats, namely animal fats, with wood ash produced a substance capable of easier cleaning. The first soap was used to wash wool used in the textile industry. The 2nd-century A.D. physician Galen describes soap-making using lye and prescribes washing to carry away impurities from the body and clothes. The use of soap for personal cleanliness became increasingly common in this period. Soap-making spread across Europe and the Middle East. In Marseilles, France, by 1525, production was concentrated in at least two factories, and the soap production there tended to eclipse the other Provençal centers, resulting in the famous soaps of the area. This is a perfect soap for babies which comes with a mild fragrance and the goodness of vitamin E. It maintains the moisture in the skin of kids. The skin is gently cleaned by the formation of a rich, creamy lather. Its TFM content is 78%.

When I think about soapy perfumes, I distinguish between my idealized pretty, clean, floral ones and those that I would call hardcore soapy with a bit of a bracing attitude. I feel effortlessly clean and pampered when wearing the first group, for example, the radiant Essence by Narciso Rodriguez, and the ethereal Pure Poison by Dior. However, due to my first exposure to soap and the fact that many Proustian memories associated with soap are mingled with that type of botanical, lavender, alkaline soap, the latter, less luxurious group, which my grandma used to use for handwashing pretty much everything, has become synonymic with truly, gritty, uncompromisingly soapy in my mind. Pure Grace by Philosophy held the throne for this type of soapiness until I tried Koala by Zoologist. Marit Kievit, Senior Global Brand Director at Unilever, said “We worked with Why? Brand Design from the start. They conducted comprehensive audits of the competitive space within key markets including Russia, implemented the design globally and eventually oversaw the print production, physically going into markets to ensure consistency. This all-inclusive partnership proved invaluable to us.” Olene smells just like vintage Camay soap to me- and where orange blossom soapiness is concerned, Prada Infusion de Fleurs d'Oranger (2005) and Dilmun by Villerosi reign supreme. I also get a very nice soapy vibe from some iris scents, especially Prada Infusion d'Iris and Guerlain Insolence Glacee.Powdery notes always are perceived as very strong to my nose, so I would like to recommend going easy on the sprayer for this one; too much of this powder bomb could become suffocating and would take away some pleasure from the experience. In the right dose, though, you'll feel clean, relaxed, and blissfully happy. This is a grade 1 soap with 76% TFM. It is best for various skin ailments like rashes, pimples, allergies because neem and haldi are its active ingredients with various medicinal properties. These soaps are generally used as toiletry which means a product used for dressing, makeup, and others. So, now you are clear that such soaps are not just meant for use in the toilet. These soaps have fattier material. 2. Bathing Soaps: The promise of Marseilles soap, in its own particular way both sweetish and fatty-acrid, is strikingly fulfilled in Naviglio. It does smell soapy, really soapy! The perfect scent for capturing summer cleanliness, but also great for year-round, when you want to project that pristine white, bright impression that is deliriously happy, like lily of the valley bells peaking through the grass on a warm day. Chanel in the Eau de Parfum concentration has a soapy body with a subtle animalic soul. Next to Caleche, it's as classic as it gets.

It was 1 of my first perfumes as a young girl.
