Neil Barnes brought the group back in 2010 and went on tour, recorded a new album and generally pushed Leftfield back into the limelight. In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases. Leftfield (originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley), have been at the cutting edge of dance music since the 1990s, releasing albums that have become some of the most influential electronic records of all time around the world with their debut LP 'Leftism' being widely regarded as one of the most boundary-pushing electronic LPs ever released. The 'Product' page will show the most up to date info we have with regards to the item and its release date, but this information is subject to change so check in with us if you have any questions. This Is What We Do is Leftfield’s first album of new music since 2015’s acclaimed Alternative Light Source, and is set to be released via Virgin Records on December 2.

The album contains guest spots from musicians not associated with dance music at the time such as John Lydon from Public Image Ltd.Not only is the pressing and sound quality astounding, it's a much more "Leftfield" sounding album than "This Is What We Do". Their last tour (in 2017) featured 7 sold out UK shows (including 2 X Brixton Academies), a sold out world tour and various festival headlines. A continuation of their lineage, which can be traced back to 1989, This Is What We Do is a bold counterpoint to the self-conscious cookie-cutter dance music that dominates the current landscape.

Due to inventory and accounting purposes, we do not exchange items received for different items than originally purchased. This cover image is a marked departure to previous Leftfield album imagery, chosen to reflect the warmth and positivity of the album and to celebrate the connections that we make with others throughout our lives. As you all know on new lps the static stops the record from slipping out the inner so this records dirt lines and grease marks was direct from the factory in that condition. Only 25 at the time of its release, Morgan was accomplished (and perhaps cocky) enough to speak of mentoring the great Joe Henderson, who at 26 was just beginning to play dates with Blue Note after getting out of the military. Their 2017 tour featured 7 sold out UK shows (including 2 X Brixton Academies), a sold out world tour and various festival headlines. After reaching a new audience through Idris Elba's Gucci ad, this is their 4th album in their 28 year history. Neil has also been cementing his reputation as a top-tier DJ and record collector unleashing modern dance floor weapons, selling out venues, headlining festivals and creating some amazing nights with his sets. While the rest of the album retreats to a more conventional hard bop sound, Morgan's compositions are forward-thinking and universally solid. To be quite honest, I wasn't too blown away with the original version of This Is What We Do, but this remix album, on the other hand, is, surprisingly, one of my absolute favorite releases from Leftfield - a smooth, deep and blissed-out trip which I enjoy from start to finish.
