In this community of mice, an idealized version of picturesque England, if you have a birthday, you are celebrated; if you are wedding your true love, everyone is overjoyed; if you are lost, you will be looked for and found; if you have an adventure or come into scrapes, you will always arrive home. The author of the blog had grown up reading these stories and was very excited about the prospect of sharing them with her own child. Having said all this it was quite hard work, with the hedge trimmer at arms length for most of it, stooping for the most part to get the lower stems.
