About this deal

Most other wood stains are more easily absorbed into the softer areas of the wood between the darker details of the natural grain. We recommend using protective gloves and splash goggles during use and simply wash out your brush with cold water afterwards.

It’s important to note that the final appearance will be a combination of the natural colour of your wood, the effect of the dye and the finishing product if used. The only warning is, like most stains, to watch for lap marks where you restart a section over a previously dried one. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. We hope to deliver to these areas in the future, however the cost is prohibitivley high for us at this time. Clear top-coats such as varnishes and oils often make white wood stains appear 'creamy' or 'off-white'.

If you need your project to be highly water repellent then apply Littlefair's Superior Wood Finishing Danish Oil before waxing. Quick drying too, Dulux Woodsheen in French Oak is suitable for doors, windows, skirting, furniture, porches, cladding, facias and shelving. Littlefair's wood dyes are water based which means they do not contain any toxic chemicals and are odourless.

I invested in some very fine needle syringes and carefully squirted the stain down the cracks with most satisfactory results. However there are a range of factors to consider when comparing our samples to your chosen project: the type and condition of the surface itself may produce a slightly different appearance of the finished colour. Its special formulation stains and varnishes in one, so colour gets locked into the wood whilst the surface is sealed and hardened to protect it from everyday wear and tear. Apply the dye liberally along the grain with a good quality brush, alternatively the dye can be sprayed.

Littlefair’s wood dyes are lovingly bottled by hand in the North West of England using the unique colour formulae created by Mr. We bring you a unique formula that penetrates the wood to produce a beautiful aged appearance on timber such as furniture, doors, skirting boards, architraves, mouldings and floors. Littlefair's Water Based Wood Dye enhances the darker details of the natural wood grain and produces the desired natural finish. Tough and durable, the surface of your wood is sealed and hardened to protect it from everyday wear and tear. The Dulux Woodsheen is specially formulated to both stain and varnish, locking the colour into the wood and offering a durable barrier.

The oils will be more suitable in damp conditions however to achieve a tough waterproof coating, Littlefair’s Titan Topcoat can be used for superior robust protection. All you need to apply is to have a debit or credit card, to be over 18 years of age, and to be a UK resident. Littlefair's brings you a unique formula that penetrates the wood to produce an authentic hardwood colour on timber such as furniture, doors, skirting boards, architraves, mouldings and floors. I chose mid oak and if was a horrible orange colour and I ended up painting over the gallows brackets with white.

Please note: Our Water Based Wood Dyes have a matt appearance when dry and come to life when finished with Littlefair’s Wood Finishing Products. Its special formulation stains and seals in one giving a durable satin finish that protects and weatherproofs beautifully. We are aware that some companies such as 'Royal Mail' do not add a surcharge, but they also have a long list of prohibited items that we can not send with them.
