It's warm, friendly advice without being embarrassingly 'in wiv da kids' like some student books are. Of course the part of student cooking is to be fuss free and for that you would need quick fixes like this but a word about the need to have a healthy and balanced diet would have helped. The cookbook includes all the essential information students need to know and the recipes easy to follow, however I do think the costing is a little high for many of the recipes in the book. A great starting point for learning the basics and then it’ll be easy to adapt the recipes to how you like them.
