That is the question posed in this UNEXPECTED love story, written by British FANTASY Award recipient Sarah Lotz. Have finished reading The Impossible Us by Sarah Lotz and it is indeed amazing…Ingenious and beautifully executed. In this way, Lotz has her characters consider everything from technology to environmentalism to war, in a consistently entertaining and interesting way. After all, the book opens with, “I turn I turn I turn before I lie to sleep and I rise before the Sun.As this is London instead of New York, it is set under the large clock at Euston Station instead of at the top of the Empire State Building. His books for Assouline include Bals: Legendary Costume Balls of the Twentieth Century (2011), Swans: Legends of the Jet Society (2013) and Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso (2020). Eggers crafts a marvelous, fully fleshed protagonist in Johannes, who is at once an ebullient braggart, a faithful and intrepid operative, and a drolly humorous reporter whose compassionate narration delivers a rousing tale of community, joyful self-reliance, and the pleasures of running very, very fast.

You have to stop reading the sentence, read the parenthetical remarks, then go back and read the sentence again because you forgot what was being said.In a quest to unlock his potential and discover what was possible, he went on to set three mountaineering world records before turning to this historic Antarctic challenge.
