About this deal

The Gravitis Motorbike Dryer is a good option with 2800W of power and 3 nozzle attachments; it is also equipped with speed/temperature settings. The total power of the motor is 2100W when used with the heat function, which is made up of 1600W Turbine power and an extra 500W for heat function. It works well on flat surfaces, such as screens, tanks and body fairings though inevitably you need to swing it from side to side to chase the larger droplets away.

However, with my new bike (BMW R1200GS) there are quite a few nooks and crannies where water seems to gather - this morning I found quite a lot of water deep down inside the cooling fins on top of the cylinder heads which can't be doing any good, especially if left to sat for a while. For example, the cooling fins of an air-cooled motor or the inner areas of the engine and transmission. The MD2800 Pro does not have heat assist settings, but the twin turbines generate heat as the air passes through into the hose, so the air is warmed naturally through the process.Bear in mind that with a compressor cycle time is important so if it has to run continually to keep up it will be clapped out in a short period of time.

Adjustable attachments and heat and air settings will also mean you can find other uses for the dryer, such as drying your car or pets.

My new bike is full of nooks and crannies which hold water after a wash and this blower eradicates the issue. What the Metrovac Blaster Sidekick motorcycle dryer does is chase any water that is left over on the surface of the bike or deep in nooks and crannies away so that you can either progress to the next step of your maintenance program or put it away clean and dry – think the last process in a drive-through car wash.

I got a great recommendation here a few years back for my Kranzle pressure washer and have never looked back with it. These kinds of features make all the difference between the job being done quickly and efficiently or becoming annoying. The 2800 Pro Dryer is the top of the range for maximum power drying capabilities especially for those with multiple vehicles. The Bruhl MD1900+ is an excellent dryer that will get the job done with no fuss and is a quality product that will last a long time. The information provided on this page is for editorial purposes only and not intended as financial advice.Other things to look out for are how long the power lead is, how long the hose is, and whether the dryer has a handle for carrying. A brilliant piece of gear which will make cleaning/drying my motorcycle much easier and dry my bike so no water will be left to attack the engine and cause damage.

I had wanted one of these for some time but found it difficult to justify but now that I have I'm very impressed. This is a really well-made, powerful motorcycle dryer - it has made quick work of a thoroughly wet Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA every time I have washed it since receiving the dryer, and I am well impressed. It might look like a luxury, but this is now a vital stage in my cleaning process – it’s also been brilliant for getting wet out of the fins of air-cooled motors and radiators on water-cooled ones. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging . Also drying around rear suspension components or under the bike can all be achieved without getting on your hands and knees using the Metrovac Blaster Sidekick motorcycle dryer. Regular washing leaves pockets of moisture trapped in hard to reach areas, which will eventually lead to corrosion. The extra heat will help evaporate water that has settled in the deepest recesses in those hard-to-reach places.
