About this deal

I picked up on people's negative comments before its launch but took a punt on it anyway, and I'm so happy that I did, the whole thing, including the box design is the highest quality. The 50th Anniversary release of the iconic album has continued being celebrated as Pink Floyd invited a new generation of animators to enter a competition, curated by Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell of Hipgnosis, to create music videos for any of the 10 songs on the iconic 1973 album. You can’t frame them as they are all creased, so you’ll unfold them, take a look and back they’ll go never to be seen again. You've Got It Made With All The Toys') features the previously unheard ‘Shadow Man (Vocal And Piano Mix)', an alternative stripped back mix of the Toy album track, along with the unreleased live versions of ‘I Dig Everything' and ‘The London Boys’. One thing that does bug me is the material for the vinyl sleeves, since I feel like it'll keep any fingerprint I give it forever which makes me maybe not want to play it as much as I should.

First released as part of ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon’ 50th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new remaster of the classic album will be available on its own on LP, CD, and Blu-ray.

Seems expensive until you open it and realise what is there Well thought out collection of memories for Pink Floyd fans. On 19 January 2023, a video was uploaded to Pink Floyd's YouTube channel, featuring Nick Mason announcing the Dark Side animation competition.Gaining an early following as one of the first British psychedelic groups, they were distinguished for their extended compositions, sonic experimentation, philosophical lyrics and elaborate live shows. The iconic sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie. Of course it could've contained more extra material, even if only that which was part of the Immersion Edition. The Dark Side Of The Moon’ is the eighth studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in March 1973.

Lovely remaster of this classic album "Dark side Of The Moon" , takes me back a bit to times when life was so much simpler than today. First released as part of The Dark Side Of The Moon 50th Anniversary Box Set, this is the first time that the new mix of the classic album is available on its own in a physical format. What I can say is that the emotions are still present, certainly they are not the same but this disc is so well recorded that you will always find something positive in it. Sadly, I compared this vinyl to my original UK first pressing, this (Mint) LP cut is inferior to the original (VG+) in almost every way.

That master is compressed and distorts unbearably on Brain Damage and Eclipse, regardless of the equipment.

I already possess the 30th-anniversary SHLV 804 pressing, the 1993 20th-anniversary CD, and numerous other format versions. The Dark Side of the Moon 50th Anniversary is a box set reissue of English progressive rock band Pink Floyd's original 1973 album. It was originally recorded in November 1974 as part of the band’s winter tour and this is the first time it will be available as a stand-alone album, with artwork featuring an original 1973 line-drawn cover by George Hardie.Fifty years on, in recognition of the iconic album and with the help of huge strides in technology, an official full dome experience with stunning visuals of the solar system and beyond and played out to 42 minutes of The Dark Side Of The Moon, will be released in Planetariums around the world in March. The famous sleeve, which depicts a prism spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson of Hipgnosis and drawn by George Hardie.
