Description

In all of these benchmarks, the Flex 3 came in significantly behind the more expensive and more powerful Acer, roughly equal with its non-Flex cousin, and comfortably ahead of the Chromebook Duet (which has an especially pokey Mediatek ARM processor). If you're looking for something with more power for demanding applications or games, you're probably not after a Chromebook to begin with.

I don't see this being a drawback unless you plan to connect an external display, since the Flex 3’s screen isn't really large enough to accommodate that many tabs comfortably in any case. To me, the performance experience is similar to using an Intel Core i5 Chromebook from four or so years ago.

Edit your Google Sheets in laptop mode, watch YouTube in tent mode, or flip the screen backward and turn your device into a tablet for presentations. BNPL is an interest bearing option that allows you to delay payments on your purchases for up to 12 months depending on how much you spend. Continue with your task as you venture into the outdoor and the 300 nits ensures your screen remains visible.

With a generous range of ports, it should also appeal to people who plan to supplement their Chromebook's internal storage and perhaps connect an external keyboard and mouse. Trademarks: Lenovo, ThinkPad, IdeaPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation and the Lenovo logo are trademarks of Lenovo. Its performance was acceptable for daily browsing or even media streaming, but demanding apps or extensions or Android games may occasionally slow to subpar performance. The dual USB-C sockets, which both support charging, are another feature you might not expect on such an affordable machine. If context matters, the most critical qualifier concerning the new Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 Chromebook is cash.It loads content-rich webpages quickly, provides brilliant video playback, and lets you multitask effortlessly while delivering amazing up-to-10 hours of battery life with one charge. A graduate of Middlebury College, I also have a master's degree in journalism and French Studies from New York University.

Lenovo pioneered the 2-in-1 concept, and some of the excellent design from its more expensive models is apparent on the Flex 3. And that means it will likely keep up with most people’s ChromeOS usage since I push the limits of my devices. The first of the silicon giant's N-series processors we've had a chance to test, it differs from Intel's Core series by ditching the multithreaded Performance cores (P-cores) and having only single-thread Efficient cores (E-cores).
