About this deal

The phrase I love you in Italian is said differently depending on who you are addressing – a romantic partner or family members and friends. And finally, to the seaside, to the beautiful town of Monterosso-al-Mare, one of the five towns that make up the stunning Cinque Terre overlooking the Ligurian Sea.

The best way to explore and learn about Milan including its most famous church is by joining a guided walking tour.It is well known that Italians are passionate, proud, temperamental, jealous, possessive, colorful, spontaneous, charming, sensual, irresistible, impatient, sensitive, macho, noisy, warm-hearted, excellent cooks, stylish, bon viveurs and football fanatics. Flashfoward to the present day and I'm now living with the same guy I met 4 years ago on my study abroad trip. By far, however, the most popular article I have ever written was for an Italian American publication, and it was about the allure of Italian men.

But what I love about Italy is the hidden gems, palaces and gardens you can find out of the beaten path.

These have their share of old buildings including churches, and Tours has plenty of chateau nearby along the Loire Valley. Italy’s history goes back thousands of years and the legacy of that long and often tempestuous history can be found throughout the country. Whilst I’m aware people have coffee hot, it’s too hot and also the full fat milk has reached the burning temperature, meaning it’s ruined the whole coffee- basic as coffee would not recommend.

They flirt like it’s part of their DNA, and they have a way of making each person feel special, like she is the only one in the room. Italy is beautiful in its own way, every Italian city is built in such a manner that it leaves you in awe. With a length of more than 1,000km, boot-shaped Italy is home to a big variety of natural landscapes; from the jagged peaks of the Dolomites and the rolling hills of Tuscany to the thick forests of the Gargano Peninsula and the blindingly white beaches of Sardinia. No reason to feel guilty about going back to Italy again and again, I feel that way about France and Britain (and southern Utah and Maine among other American places). Since Italy offers everything, focus on what attracts you and make that your starting point: Florence for Renaissance art, Piedmont for wine, Sicily for ancient ruins (and Inspector Montalbano), Rome for, well, Rome. With the budget airlines so prolific nowadays, you can always start in Rome for 3-4 nights, then fly to the next destination set, even if it's all the way across Europe. From skiing, snowboarding, or sledding to horse-drawn carriage rides through the fairytale-like winter scenery and charming Christmas markets, Italian mountains are a wonderful winter destination as well! In this article, we will delve into the reasons why foreigners are so drawn to Italy, exploring its cultural treasures, architectural marvels, culinary delights, warm hospitality, and the magical festivals and traditions that make Italy an irresistible destination for travelers seeking an unforgettable experience. Six months or so later, we realized that trading snatched anecdotes about Italy wasn’t enough; we had to sit down at a table together and exchange essays rather than trade notes about our common love for Italy.

Venice and Cinque Terre are both high up on the list, just now reading your descriptions has prompted it even more!

Thanks to this fierce drive to discover and create, a scrawny peninsula smaller than California has touched every aspect of Western culture, blazing to life in the Sistine Chapel, surging through a Verdi chorus, preening in Valentino red, deepening a vintage Brunello, spicing a tangy penne all’arrabbiata. Hearing their beautiful language is one of the things I enjoy most about stepping off the plane and landing in Italy. The Accademia Gallery is another must-visit attraction in Florence, as it houses one of the most famous sculptures in Europe, the statue of David, created by Michelangelo. My ethnicity is a decidedly uninteresting mix of many nationalities and backgrounds making me resoundingly American.
