I liked the different sections and clear layout of ingredients, although I would have liked to see all the recipes photographed. Made with Joe's favourite coconut oil and desiccated coconut, these are seriously tasty and easy to transport to and from work or the gym. Now, you can even enjoy Body Coach in person as Joe has recently opened up his first ever gym: The Body Coach Studios in Shoreditch. With 100 healthy, tasty, simple recipes to feed the whole family, this book is sure to provide new favourite go-to meals for speedy suppers, celebrations and everything in between.

This is the second of Joe Wicks cook books that I have and if I’m honest I don’t think this one is as good. He's even gone a step further and combined his fatherly advice with his fitness passion and produced The Burpee Bears, a picture book packed full of fitness tips, exercises, and healthy recipes for kids. I created this plan to educate people and give them the knowledge they need to get a lean, healthy strong body without going hungry. Some unfamiliar ingredients also needed a quick explanation - for example, ketjap manis, an Indonesian soy sauce - as not everyone will know what they are.

You’ll find plenty of smart shortcuts to big flavours by following Wicks’s feed, and one of the spiciest is harissa paste. I do quite like Joe Wickes’ other recipe books and I do like this one also, I’m not entirely sure though which kids (certainly not mine) would be eating some of these recipes especially when laden with vegetables but if nothing else did open conversations in our family about what is healthy eating! This healthy winter warmer can be ready to serve in a mere quarter of an hour, though it does require masterful levels of efficiency in the kitchen. Always on the look for new recipes to try and as ever trying to eat more healthily, I was looking forward to getting a glimpse at "Joe's family food".

An interesting cookery book from Joe Wickes that claims it's for all the family but I think some of the ingredients are rather adulty, plus the recipes are aimed at small children (under 5's) where their palate is still developing. For a baby just starting weaning, I'd say there's ingredients I'd want to avoid for sugar and salt reasons, but the recipes we've tried, some you add the sauce at the end so you can customise and obviously just leave things out if you need to. Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF. Let's not forget: he also made his way into the hearts and homes of the nation with his PE lessons throughout lockdown. This book is designed for family’s who want to make healthy meals for all the family and most of the serving sizes are for 2 adults and 2 children. Packed with healthy fats and protein, these muffins are a perfect snack for when you're on the go (or make a great breakfast too). He is the author of Lean in 15 - The Shift Plan, Lean in 15 - The Shape Plan , Lean in 15 - The Sustain Plan, The Fat-Loss Plan, Cooking for Family and Friends, Joe's 30-Minute Meals, Veggie Lean in 15 , Wean in 15 and 30 Day Kick Start Plan. Cooking for Family and Friends is a beautifully photographed collection of Joe's easy favourites and crowd-pleasers, such as Roast Chicken with Celeriac Mash and Bacon Greens, BBQ Ribs with Dirty Corn, and Tandoori Chicken Thighs with Chapattis. MAKE IT VEGGIE Replace the chicken breasts with Quorn fillets and add a vegetable of your choice instead of the chorizo.

This latest one focuses on family food and most of the recipes will appeal to busy parents who need something quick and easy to prepare that is also balanced and nutritious. The Lean in 15 OG found success by sharing healthy recipes on his Instagram (maybe you came across the videos of him throwing foods with all sorts of nicknames into a pan). This one might take you longer than 15 minutes unless you’re as much of a wizard in the kitchen as Wicks, but it’s worth the time for the sweet-and-savoury chicken you get to eat at the end. This is just one of those cook books I don't think I will be reaching for that often and it doesn't contain enough meals in that I would actually want to cook myself.

Don’t get me wrong, there are things I really like about it, such as the way the book is divided into the different sections. Only had it a week but made a few things already (satay stir fry thing, smoky chickpea jacket pots and beetroot risotto) and they've been really tasty. Some of the other recipes are able to be frozen too alongside those included in the Big batch section. He’s won legions of fans with his philosophy 'eat more, exercise less', and even more new followers with his live PE lessons, but did you know he also does cookbooks?PO Box, Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, American Samoa, Andorra, Angola, Anguilla, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Belarus, Benin, Bhutan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde Islands, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Cook Islands, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas), Fiji, French Polynesia, Gabon Republic, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Greenland, Guam, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Haiti, India, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, Netherlands Antilles, New Caledonia, Niger, Nigeria, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Puerto Rico, Republic of the Congo, Russian Federation, Rwanda, Saint Helena, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, San Marino, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Suriname, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vatican City State, Venezuela, Virgin Islands (U. Trick your inner flesh fiend into thinking it’s gorging on a slab of meat with this giant steaky mushroom, topped with tastebud-tingling feta and goodness-rich salad stuff. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Whilst it's good to get the children involved in food preparation and cooking from a young age and this book sets out to do this, it's not quite as family-friendly as I'd hoped it could be. This cheesy omelette with avocado is a step up from your regular avocado on toast and exactly what you need to wake up with a spring in your step.
