Details: The Sony manual says to crank up the crossover to it's highest setting on the subwoofer and set the volume to half way then do a calibration to allow the AVR to set the correct crossover frequency for it. The AVR set the speakers crossover to 140hz.No don`t redo test or touch knobs, the SW level -6,5db is fine! You can tweak that figure on the receiver menu (speaker levels, subwoofer level) to lower figure example -6,5db -> -3,5db if you want some extra slam. No need to touch the knobs of subwoofer anymore! Basically if you stay on the minus side you don´t need to worry much. It`s personal preference how much rumble you want there so try it out. What is the FR of your Dali Sub? You need to ensure it can really have the crossover point needed for the Mins. Also, placing the sub as close to the speakers will help greatly in blending with the sub for a seamless sound. One of my Subs, a Velodyne only has a upper FR of 135Hz but as it is next to the speaker, it blends great.

Spread them apart (equilateral triangle if possible) and put them shooting straight not towards you! am just looking to add enough bass in the sub setting for my room were i can make this flat denon into helping feeling the music more adding some punch Many subwoofers require you to change settings from behind the device. This is not only inconvenient but can also mean you have to continually adjust the sound throughout a dynamic movie to produce the best tones. When you control your subwoofer from your smartphone, however, changing these settings is much easier.
