Mother Ethiopia Part 1 (Stand-alone 12″ from 2017 – hear more about this with Steve Trigg on Podcast 47) Will of the People will take the listener through “a similar mix of rarities, this time spanning the period 2002 to 2021”. The collection has been “compiled by Paul Weller himself and Paul has provided artwork ideas and sketches for the design”.The link was eventually removed, because it seems as if the plan was to announce this on Weller’s birthday which was on Thursday, 25 May. That’s what happened, in the end, although the cat was already out of the bag. RSD Singles: he's skipped the A-sides (Flame-Out and Brand New Toy), possibly because they're on More Modern Classics, but included the b-sides. Landslide wasn't on that comp, but Olde Original was (?). I'm generally not a big fan of remixes, so I'd prefer more of those be skipped in favor of original songs/covers. Just me, perhaps. The Olde Original (Released to celebrate Record Store Day in 2013, the 7″ featured this and Flame Out!) Lots are sold subject to any announcements, declaration, alterations of description or other matters, made by the Auctioneers prior to the invitation of bids.
