I love Tyler! He gives fantastic advice, and there's a scene where he gives J.D. advice using PRIDE AND PREJUDICE on how to win the girl. It was amazing how knowledgable he was of P&P. I couldn't stop laughing! The taxi driver was a hoot, too. She forgave him much to easily. She treats it like a joke at the end which makes no sense at all considering who she is. J.D. heard the beep, signaling the end of the message, and he hung up the phone. He thought about what Payton had said-not so much her apology, which was questionably mediocre at best-but something else. The author is clearly very intelligent and was a lawyer herself. You can tell she knows her stuff and puts that into her writing. Not just content-wise, but also how she tells the story and the sophisticated style of her writing. The only thing I was expecting from this that it didn't deliver on was good sex scenes. There are a minimal amount of physical scenes within this entire book and when they do happen, the author just does the YA trope of drifting off into the distance. It was a buzz kill for me. But, to me, this made it more of an old-fashioned love story. There is no insta love. It is a slow build, enemies-to-lovers romance with no cursing and PG-13 rated love scenes.

Both of them can also be very honest that they’re falling for each other despite wanting different things and yet recognize it’s also hard being just friends once admitting that.She asked him the question she had been asking herself for the past few days. "Why are you being so nice to me now?" honorable mention to how will legit took pictures of her all the time secretively because he thought she was beautiful and deserved to have good pictures of herself😭

before starting this i was so sure that nobody could top grumpy pie making Noah Walker but holy damn was i wrong. Will Griffin is THE book bf of the year for me. i honest to god actually BLUSHED multiple times over how charming and smooth talking this man was. not even the dirtiest toe curling things i have read in the past have ever accomplished that??? i also seriously adore how he was so desperate to help Annie in her journey to find herself but always asked her to never change the things that make her Annie :’)This book managed to get me out a reading slump. YAY! If you just want a generic romcom that is just something fluffy and light to read, (something that's not too deep). This is your go to book! BECAUSE IF YOU LOOK DEEP YOU WON’T FIND MUCH!
