Pulp Riot toners are high speed and progressive, so you can see results in just 5 minutes! However, you can leave Pulp Riot toners on anywhere up to 20 minutes, depending on how deep you want the tone. You can even watch the tones progress before your eyes!

My go-to combos are Icy + Violet 20gm of Icy+5gm of violet as it gives a bit of sheer and removes the yellow tones. Silver and icy on darker bases, it provides a lighter effect on a darker base. What makes the Pulp Riot toners formula stand out? Great! Except for the fact that it is very purple after you first apply it. You’re probably going to end up with a dark purple/dark grey look for the first few washes, however, after that, you’ll start to see the more true gray/silver look. My Absolute go-to formula for super frosty blondes right now is Liquid Demis 8-11 + 9-2. It’s so versatile! You can adjust the formula to add more 8-11 to take it silvery or more 9-2 for Icy platinum. If I could use two toner shades for the rest of my life, it would be these two! Do You Mix Pulp Riot Toner With a Developer?

My favourite formula is Silver& Icy High-Speed Toner in equal parts, it’s the perfect Platinum Silver! My favourite formula is 10-2& 10-03from the Liquid Demis! This creates the perfect clean and creamy bright Blonde! Pulp Riot uses QUINOA OIL for protein for hair, levelling porosity for even colour & stronger strands as well as plant butter giving high-gloss mirror-like shine. What are plant butters? They are usually derived from a plant seed, bean, kernel, or nut. When added to a product they each have unique properties that promote skin or hair health.

My absolute favourite formula is 6-1 & -22 from the Faction8 range mixed with 6vol 1:2. This creates the perfect violet, and my clients are absolutely obsessed! Not only does it work to reduce other colors, but it also helps give a slight iridescent/metallic look to any way you use it! Just make sure that you’ve already lifted your hair to either a level 9 or 10. That’s not to say that it won’t work on darker hair at all, but we can’t promise it will.

Pulp Riot toners are best used on pre-lightened blonde hair, or levels 8 to 10. Try using Pulp Riot Clay Lightener or Pulp Riot #BLONDEAF Powder Lightener to lift the hair if needed. My Favourite formula is Clear mixed with a few drops of Fireballto create the most offensively bright neon pink. It’s a real show stopper!Mix 1 part colour with 2 to 4 parts developer in a non-metallic bowl. For best results, mix with either the Pulp Riot superior scalp developer 10 or 6 volume. Once mixed to your preferred ratio, apply the toner to dry or damp hair and leave on for 5 to 20 minutes depending on the desired level of intensity. Once the toner has processed, gently shampoo your client’s hair. Our first reaction was that it was more of a face cream consistency than the wax it claims to be. This was a pleasant surprise, as we imagine it to be much more manageable than a wax would be.
