About this deal

Got my sharpener a week ago and I love it. Much better than the regular precision adjust sharpener. Now able to get the true angle on my blades. My only wish is that Work Sharp needs to provide a case like they did with the other one. You guys know I like my pros and cons. They’re a valuable tool in a review like this. Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener Review: Pros My overall thoughts on this knife sharpener are that it’s a wonderful value. Those who want to maintain knives themselves will find this a useful tool that should work on a broad variety of blades. The Knife Clamp Collet is built to securely and carefully hold your knife. Your knife is clamped in with jaws that feature a layer of rubber between your knife and the clamp. This extra layer of projection ensures your valuable knife won't get scratched, but it still held tight. The wheel closes the jaws, no tools are needed to secure your knife to the clamp.

Work Sharp has a new sharpening system as you probably noticed today (May 1, 2023) if you are at all plugged into the Knife Industry YouTube/Blog/Podcast scene. They sent the new units to members of the online knife community last month, but the press embargo (silent period) expired today. I did cover it in my Knife News column in the June issue which just went to press last week, and won’t be arriving in mailboxes until closer to June. Work Sharp products are Fast, Easy To Use, and Work Every Time. Work Sharp is proud to be a 4th generation, family-owned, American company and has produced industry-leading sharpening tools for 50 years. Work Sharp is 100 co-workers strong and has sold nearly 10 million sharpeners. EIN Presswire's priority is source transparency. We do not allow opaque clients, and our editors try to be careful about weeding out false and misleading content. Work Sharp products are designed to be easy to use, even for those new to knife sharpening. They come with clear instructions and often include guides and angle presets that help ensure that you are sharpening at the correct angle, providing consistent results. What is the difference between a precision sharpener and an electric knife sharpener? I have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of owners of the original Precision Adjust love the system, but wish it came with more abrasive options. While the 320, 600, and ceramic grits were adequate in making your knives hair-shaving sharp, I was never happy with the look of my bevels. Show me the Abrasives!Yes, the Work Sharp Precision Adjust Sharpener can sharpen serrated blades. However, you will need the Elite version of the Work Sharp Precision Adjust sharpener since serrated knives require both coarse and fine diamond abrasives to sharpen them.

Clamp Stabilizing platform (Clamp Stabilizer) for increased stability when sharpening larger knives. I get that you might not have a ton of time to read this whole article, so I’ll give you the verdict out of the gate: This sharpener is awesome. You’ll have razor-sharp, well-honed blades in minutes. It’s absolutely worth the money (which really isn’t a lot, in the grand scheme of sharpeners).

Does anyone a difference in angle from heel to tip? I set the angle at 15’ at the heel and the digital reader says 12’ when I’m at the tip of an 8” knife. I trust the Work Sharp Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener with even my most expensive blades. What is it? A complete sharpening system, delivering precision and repeatability with seven abrasive grits and angles from 15°-30°. The elite kit includes more grit options for optimal sharpening.
