In terms of quality, both Layrite and Suavecito are similar. They are so good too many barbers are recommending them.

If you’re a woman, you can use it too. It’s not ordained for men only, just to let you know. What if you have long hair?I’ll like to tell you there are many other things, aside from those mentioned in this article, to look for. But they might not be as important. And maybe even be a waste of time? This gives it an upper hand over many other brands, especially considering that it’s affordable. However, you need to not overuse it, else, it’ll lead to flaking of your hair. Layrite Superhold Pomade (120g) is a firm hold, water-soluble styling pomade which gives ultimate control and a medium shine finish to challenging, high elevation styles. Developed for use on hard to control, curly or coarse hair of all lengths, it distributes easily and dries to a flexible hold. It’s a water-based pomade, like Suavecito and a lot easier to remove compared to oil-based pomades. One of the things that makes Firme Hold so great (and so popular) is how easy it is to work with. It effortlessly scoops from the jar, it breaks down in the hands incredibly easy, and even though it’s a strong hold pomade – it works through the hair with ease.

Lastly, it can wash out easily with water. I’m putting this here in case I’ve not mentioned it before. Suavecito, on the other hand, is better for those looking for pomade to use on wet hair with a low sheen. Washing it out took me a little bit. It does come out with just water, but it took a little longer than most. I also had to kind of “wash” my hair with my hands under the water. After a couple minutes all of it was out of my hair. Once I got out of the shower and towel dried my hair I noticed that my hair was kind of dried out and coarse. This is one thing I really don’t like about water based pomades. Also why I don’t use them that often, save for a few.One of things that I really like about Superhold is the light, fresh scent. Layrite calls it a Mild Cream Soda scent and I would describe it as lightly sweet and fruity with a hint of vanilla. It’s very pleasant without being too strong or overbearing.
