After the destruction of Iacon, Acid Storm became one of many down-trodden Decepticons living in a ghetto outside of Metroplex. Acid Storm was later made available in TakaraTomy's markets as a " USA Edition" of sorts, still exclusive to Toys"R"Us. The original MP-3 version of this mold was redecoed into MP-6 Skywarp and MP-7 Thundercracker, while the MP-11 version of this mold was also redecoed into MP-11S Sunstorm and Transformers Masterpiece Thundercracker. Skywarp is minimally mis-transformed in-package: his jet mode nosecone is extended, rather than folded in as it should be in robot mode. Part of the sixth and final assortment of Tiny Titans blindpacks, this version of Acid Storm is a very small, soft-plastic figure of him in robot mode.

This mold was also used to make Alt-Modes Thundercracker, Skywarp, and Sunstorm, and would have been retooled into Dirge. Presumably by mistake, the stats on Skywarp, Starscream and Thundercracker's Tech Specs were switched around. Original photos of Skywarp showed him with show-accurate all purple arm cannons, but due to gang molding (and lack of additional paint operations) only the upper most portion of his arm cannons ended up purple. Classics Skywarp is a redeco and slight retool of Classics Deluxe Class Starscream, transforming into an F-15 Eagle fighter jet, though with a canopy like that of an F-14 Tomcat. Siege Starscream transforms from a heavily G1-inspired robot to a Cybertronian 'tetrajet' based on the Seekers' appearance in " More than Meets the Eye, Part 1" and back; although the jet mode has the robot legs sticking out from the undercarriage.It has subsequently appeared in many other places such as on toy packaging, books, and in other stories.

Curiously, although Thundercracker's wing stripes were replaced with tampographs, Skywarp's remained factory-applied stickers.

This mold is based on based on Guido Guidi's Seeker design from IDW's original ongoing series and transforms into a hybrid F15/F22. The holes for his missile launchers in his arms were widened, as were the launcher's insertion pegs. Unforgivable As Starscream outlined his plans to regroup with the scattered Decepticon cells, Acid Storm felt compelled to point out that they were holed up in Metrotitan's corpse which Starscream claimed made for a good metaphor. On November 30, 2016 MP-11SW Skywarp was released in Japan for the first time as a TakaraTomy Mall exclusive.

Acid Storm's original deco would have been significantly different, such as featuring a different pilot and co-pilot (" MSGT. Starscream was one of their leaders before the war, and High Councilor Contrail seems to have been another.This Legends-class mold is a highly simplified, low-cost version of Starscream in his F-22 Raptor body. Prime's Directive, Part Two Acid Storm joined his fellow Seekers in attacking the mining colony before the Decepticons were scared away by a photon torpedo barrage from the USS Enterprise. A piece of art by Guido Guidi in Dreamwave's 2004 The Ultimate Guide features a green Seeker, who is sometimes identified by fans as Acid Storm, though the color layout doesn't particularly match. In jet mode, two short rockets are fitted into the launchers to make them resemble the drop tanks a real F-15 carries, while in robot mode, they are replaced with the long barrels of Skywarp's machine guns. Much like Classics Ultra Magnus, the changes were most likely due to an overabundance of paint operations.
