About this deal

The 7-inch screen has a 1,024-by-600 resolution, has capacitive touch capability, and is similar to the display on the Fuhu Nabi 2. Very good graphics and easy to use for 4 year olds but shame the batteries don't last more than a few hours (not joking) so we invested in rechrageable ones and had to pay extra for the charger. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Although the Innotab 2 is aimed at children from 4 years through to 9 years old, I knew it would be a big hit with my 16 month old.

Leo and I sat huddled up on the sofa and followed the ebook about a dog that moves to the city, which Leo followed all the way through loving all of the animation provided within the story. I think I would be happy to pay the extra money for the Innotab 3S to get this functionality if I had an older child who wanted to explore the internet a little more. VTech has done away with a physical camera button; instead, there is a camera button on the screen when the user is in camera mode.

The camera is on an adjustable lens which allows the kid's to snap photos of themselves which can then be used as their profile photo, or to snap scenic shots by adjusting the lens. Featuring a 5" color touch screen and tilt-sensor, kids can tap, flick, drag, and pat their way to learning fun. The expert-supported curriculum includes reading, math, social studies, handwriting, science, problem solving, geography and much more.

Having been there at the launch of the original Innotab from VTech several years ago, we were fascinated to find out how this children's tablet had evolved over the past few years. Above the screen is a 2-megapixel camera that rotates 180 degrees, and next to it is a microphone and the volume controls.Overall I would say this is an excllent tablet for little kids, robust, sturdy with lots and lots of play possibilities. The best features of this tablet are the rotating camera and the ability to add a 32GB SD card which can be picked up surprisingly cheap.

Please note: a signature is required for most deliveries so please choose an address where someone is in.This download allows you to control everything that you put onto your Innotab 2, and you can then choose the 2 free apps that your little one would like! The stylus really makes getting around this tablet a doddle and interacting with all of the features. The omission of an icon on the Enter button is puzzling, as parents who can't find the instruction manual will be mystified by it.

The VTech InnoTab has no wireless internet connectivity so you don't need to worry about your child downloading hundreds of pounds worth of content, but I would recommend you keep your password for the VTech download site safe just in case they work out how to connect it up and download without your help! Words are highlighted on the screen as your child reads, and they can touch individual words to see how they are pronounced. So while Leo was napping I opened up the Innotab 2 and decided to get it all set up and have a little play before little man was up and decided not to share. The only fault I found with this was the resting arm which pops out to enable the tablet to stand on a surface is not very tough and litteraly fell off with in minutes of 1st use , its possible to fix it back but it is just not well made and continues to fall off if wiggled at all which is dissapointing as over all the tablet is so sturdy . Your child can use the InnoTab as an MP3 player and can also view some of their favorite photos on their very own device.
