Every time I wear this one, I love her more, finding more nuances to her mysterious, chameleonlike personality. The scent itself is hard to describe as I can hardly tell notes apart but the best parallel i can offer (may not be familiar to everyone), are the Pink rose/menthol "rendezvous" aromatic gummies , a Greek retro candy that served as a breath freshener. It's 30 degrees in Christchurch today, and I only put a tiny bit on my forearm to try it out, but already I think this will be worn for cooler days and evenings. Wish is that loud-laughter bombshell at the holiday bash in a lurex dress and even cheaper lipstick, who gets sticky caramel everywhere and is the absolute life of the party.

Ive never really understood what people meant when they described a perfume as " skanky" or " dirty" until today. I expected a powerhouse, strong fragrance due to the comparisons to Angel and people describing it as "cloying" or "too strong". It wasn't particularly classy or elegant and my tastes have changed a lot over the past few years but I still loved having this for when the mood struck me.

I was out looking for a new perfume and I sprayed that one among others and I have to say I'm impressed 🤩it was the sweetest of them all! On one hand I found myself disappointed on my first smell because I had built myself up to expect a dupe of the unwearable-on-my-skin Angel by Mugler. To me it smells nothing like Angel - which I relatively dislike thanks to the chocolate note which in perfumes I tend to perceive as bitter/sour. Cooler weather mutes the sweet notes and pulls all violent and osmanthus just like with volupte on my skin. the lasting power is very good but the sillage is not the best in the world unfortunately, or maybe i just got nose blind for it.

And that's where the positives start for me - I absolutely ADORE Euphoria, it's easily one of my most favourite scents. The floral notes of osmanthus, patchouli and black violet of Wish express the harmony of a dream that comes true.

Beautiful classic, it indeeds reminds of the era when Angel was all around in the streets, and it also reminds me of Destiny by Harley Davidson - my first perfume love.
